This led to police searching for the SUV that the woman was driving along highway 42 in Byron.

According to police, the witnesses had blocked Sierra’s car at the intersection of Highways 42 and 49. The police tried to speak to the driver but she refused to cooperate and they couldn’t talk with her. Sierra’s actions were characterized by irresponsible driving and reckless behavior. They had to place stop sticks underneath the tires of the vehicle to stop the driver from escaping. According to police, she tried to pull back but she ended up hitting a vehicle as she was accelerating. Then she hit the vehicle belonging to the Byron Police and fled to Highway 49. Apart from the vehicle, she is also accused of hitting two witnesses. The police officers stopped her on the highway, and she was taken into custody. Sierra Hibbert, a 24-year-old female from Warner Robbins has been identified.
She was charged with reckless driving, hitting three police cars, a witness and an officer. They mugshot of her is still not available. The good news is that nobody was seriously hurt in the incident. The Byron police also praised those who helped to stop traffic. The Peach County Sheriff was in charge of the investigation and also assisted in Sierra’s prosecution. Sheriff Terry stated that the woman was charged with six counts each of aggravated assault. The charges could be increased if she endangered a child in the incident.
