According to recent reports, Jolissa Fuentes has been identified as the missing girl. At the time of her disappearance, she was 22 years old. After a brief inquiry, the investigation team discovered that the girl had been last seen at Selma, California’s gas station around 4AM on August 7, 2022. The gas station was located 16 miles south of Fresno. The police are making great efforts to locate the girl.
Julissa was reported missing by her mother, Norma Nunez. Nunez also said that her daughter told her she was returning from a party, and stopped at a gas station for snacks. She was buying snacks and called her sister around 3:59 AM. Her sister was asleep so she couldn’t answer the call. The family informed her that she called back at 5:24 and 5;25, respectively, the second time in succession. Julissa was informed by her father that this was her last call and that they won’t be able to contact her again.
Nunez also set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for her family in order to find her daughter. She appealed to everyone who has heard about her mysterious accident to help her find her daughter. Nunez asked for help in returning her daughter home. The campaign has raised $5,065 so far and the goal to raise $10,000 is for the next few months. Rudy Alcaraz, chief of Selma Police Department addressed the matter and said that this case was criminal in nature as it is unusual behavior for her. The police department is doing all it can to locate the 22-year-old girl.
