We have already mentioned that the incident occurred on Tuesday at the Sixty Vines Restaurant located in the 3700 block of Dallas Parkway. According to reports, Esmeralda Urpton, a 58-year-old woman was charged with using racial insults and physical assault on a group Indian American Women. She also accused of using racially offensive words against Indian American women. A surveillance camera recorded the incident and the police officer assisted in capturing the suspect.
Rani Banerjee, one of the victims of the whole incident, recorded a five minute video and uploaded it on one social media site. The video went viral and was viewed by millions of people on social media. Internet users are expressing disgust at the woman for abusing and attacking the women. The caption of the video read “Dinner with friends ended in a frightening experience.” Victims stated that an angry woman approached them after they had finished their dinner and began to abuse them racially.
She also involved them in a physical fight. Two of the women were beaten by her. Police learned the entire case and approached the scene after one of the women had recorded it. They informed 911 about the situation. She also claimed that she is not white, but that she is Mexican and that she paid here. She said that she didn’t even want to talk with you. Rani, one of the women, said that she had lived in Dallas for 29 years and never felt so ashamed, thretened or scared.
