Stuart Woods Cause Of Death

Jeanmarie Woods (the wife of Stuart Woods) did not share the sad news. His cause of death is unknown. Woods also owned houses in New York, Maine, and Florida. He was also a daring licensed pilot of private jet planes and trans-Atlantic navigator. However, his writing career took a rather haphazard turn. After he began writing, he transformed a $7500 advance for his first book “Chiefs” in 1981 into a successful career. He produced as many as five thrillers per year and was the inspiration for a CBS mini-series of six hours in 1983.

He produced many New York Times bestsellers over the span of forty years. His characters included Ed Eagle, a Santa Fe defense lawyer, William Henry Lee IV (a Georgia senator who is elected president), Holly Barker (a retired Army major who was also a Florida police chief) and Rick Barron (a detective who became the head of production at a Hollywood studio during the 1970s). Another travel book by Mr. Woods is A Romantic’s guide to the Country Inns of Britain & Ireland (1979).

How Did Stuart Woods Die?

Stuart Chevalier Lee was conceived in Manchester, Georgia, on January 9, 1938. His parents were Stuart Franklin Lee (a gas station owner who fled Georgia after robbing the bottling plant he owned while his son was two years old) and Dorothy (Callaway) Lee (a church organist). Stuart was six years old when he adopted the last name of his stepfather, as his mother had married Angier David Woods. After earning a sociology degree at the University of Georgia, Mr. Woods enlisted in the Air National Guard in 1959. Woods moved to New York in the hope of becoming a journalist, but instead he found work at an advertising agency before moving to London.
