A jury resigned to review its verdicts in the trial of a former reality television contestant who was charged with crimes linked to a sexual tape. Prosecutors claim Stephen Bear shared a CCTV video of him with Georgia Harrison, effectively selling it. The 32-year-old, who lives in Bryony Close, Loughton, Essex has denied voyeurism as well as two charges of disclosing private photos of sexual images and videos. Mr. Bear has appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and The Only Way Is Essex.

The defendant, along with Ms. Harrison 27, 27 was filmed on CCTV at his home in August 2020 during a trial that lasted for seven days in Chelmsford Crown Court was heard. Prosecutors claim that Ms. Harrison who removed her right to anonymity was not aware that she was being recorded. Ms. Harrison has also been seen as a guest on The Only Way Is Essex, Love Island and Olivia Meets Her Match She stated that when Mr. Bear presented her with the footage, she warned him “never to give” the footage to anyone else and “made it clear how unhappy she would be in the event that he did” stated Jacqueline Carey KC, prosecuting.

She testified before the court that she watched Mr. Bear send the video to someone via WhatsApp the following day, and later she learned it was circulated on the internet. Ms. Carey stated she was told by the accused that he uploaded the video “either himself or uploaded it to OnlyFans and made money from it. Mr. Bear winner of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 and told his audience that he had deleted the video in the month of August in 2020 and did not send the video to anyone else. Jurors were taken home for the duration of the day. They have been requested to return by 10:00 GMT on Tuesday, to continue the deliberations.
