Denis Kiwanuka Lote was born on March 25, 1938, in Pallisa District Protectorate of Uganda. On December 19, 1965, he has ordained a priest. He was a priest in Tororo’s Archdiocese until May 20, 1991. He was ordained Bishop of Kotido in May 1991 and then became a bishop at Kotido by Archbishop Emmanuel Wamala on August 18. He was respected and loved by his family for many years.
