It is still performed each year in her name and memory. Christina Deacy, another dancer, created a go-funding page in honor of Carla. She invited people to become community hosts. It was an act of love.

Go-fund has raised more than 22,000 dollars to support their family Carla. It also encourages other Irish communities and people to dance. On the other hand, The Drake School proudly holds an Orange State Fies as well as Cara Dances Fies in honor of Carla and her dancing. They remember her each year, as well as the wider Irish community. Cruz, who shot 17 children and other victims, apologized in court. He also said that he was sorry for his actions. He stated that he would do everything possible to help the families of the children he had killed.
